Chamber Music NOW concert - October 20th / Philadelphia

October 20, 2007 @ 8PM - The Community Education Center, 3500 Lancaster Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19104

A generation of young composers have cut their teeth on Rock Music before perusing Classical training. This distortion of boundaries has led to the creation of the "New Rock Complexity Movement." Come experience this musical revolution with two of New York City's edgiest classical / rock ensembles, Electric Kompany and Newspeak. This concert features the Philadelphia Premier of Jacob TV's "White Flag" as well as a presentation of original work by Philadelphia based visual artist Daniel Heyman, both of whom make powerful statements on the Iraq war.
